Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 20, 2026
1. Introduction
Trader Matrix LLC ("TraderMatrix," "we," "us," or "our") operates the TraderMatrix platform (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.
Trader Matrix LLC also operates related products, including the Vespryx browser extension, the TraderMatrix Flow Bot for Discord, and TickerTrace. Where this policy refers to the Service, it includes those products unless a product publishes its own privacy policy, in which case that policy applies to information collected through that product.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not access the Service.
2. Company Information
Trader Matrix LLC

3. Information We Collect
3.1 Account and Authentication Data
When you create an account, we collect:
- Email address
- Full name (optional)
- Password (stored as a one-way hash; we never store plaintext passwords)
- OAuth profile information (if using Google Sign-In, including name and email)
- Subscription status and tier
- Account creation date and last login
3.2 Trading Activity and Preferences
We collect information about your use of the Service:
- Ticker symbols you search and view
- Filter preferences and settings
- Watchlist items you save
- Alert configurations and delivery preferences
- Webhook URLs and endpoints you configure
- Feature usage patterns and interactions
3.3 Affiliate and Referral Data
If you participate in our affiliate program or were referred by an affiliate, we collect:
- Referral codes used at registration or checkout
- Referral relationships between accounts
- Commission earning history and payout records
- Affiliate payout information (for commission transfers)
3.4 Analytics and Usage Data
We collect technical and usage data to improve the Service:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- Referring websites
- Approximate geographic location (derived from IP)
- Server logs and error logs
- Audit logs of significant account actions (for security purposes)
First-party product analytics. To understand which tools are used and where pages are hard to use, our own servers record each page you visit in the Service: the page address (without search terms or query strings), how long the page was actively in view, how far down the page you scrolled, and the device context at the time: device class (phone, tablet or desktop), screen size and pixel density, touch or mouse input, browser and operating system family (we derive the family from your browser's user-agent and do not store the user-agent itself), language, time zone and connection type. For each browsing session we also record the site that referred you (its domain only), any campaign tags in the link you arrived on, and your approximate country and region as reported by our hosting provider's network. To find pages that are slow or broken for you, we also record page-load performance measurements (such as how long the main content took to appear) and, when a page hits a software error, the error type and a one-way fingerprint of its message; we never store the error message itself. If you turn on Analytics in our cookie banner or in Settings, we also record which buttons, links and other page elements you click and where on the page the click landed (as a percentage of the page, not your screen), so we can see which parts of a page are used or confusing. We identify an element by its position in the page layout, never by its text, and we never record what you type, mouse movements, or anything you click on your portfolio, journal, broker-connection, billing or account settings pages. Turning Analytics off stops this immediately. While you are signed in these records are linked to your account's internal ID, never to your email address; when you are signed out they are linked only to a random identifier stored in your browser. We do not record what you type, the contents of your portfolio, journal or messages, or your IP address in these records, and we do not use them to fingerprint your device.
If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we do not record these product analytics at all. Raw records are kept for 13 months, then reduced to daily totals that are not linked to any person, and the raw records are deleted.
3.5 Payment Information
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number or banking details on our servers. We retain:
- Stripe customer ID (a reference token, not card data)
- Subscription status and billing dates
- Invoice history and payment amounts
- Applied discounts and promotional codes
Stripe's privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy
3.6 Communications Data
When you contact us through our support form or email, we collect:
- Your name and email address
- The content of your message
- Category of inquiry
- Correspondence history
3.7 AI Assistant (Arya) Interactions
When you use our in-app AI assistant ("Arya") or other AI features, we collect and store:
- The messages and prompts you submit to the assistant
- The assistant's responses and your conversation history
- Derived metadata such as conversation sentiment and usage counts
To generate responses and analyze conversations, the content of your AI interactions is transmitted through OpenRouter, an AI request routing service, to our model providers, which currently include Google (Gemini), Anthropic (Claude), and DeepSeek. These providers process your interactions solely to provide the AI functionality; our account configuration disables request logging, and your conversations are not used to train their models. Their handling of this data is governed by their respective terms. Please do not submit sensitive personal information to the AI assistant.
3.8 Trade Journal Entries
If you use the Trade Journal, we store the trade details and notes you choose to record — including tickers, entry and exit information, position details, and any personal commentary you add.
3.9 Vespryx Browser Extension
Vespryx is a browser extension that draws our own market data on top of pages you are already viewing. Because an extension runs inside your browser, this section describes exactly where it runs, what it reads, and what leaves your device.
Where it runs. The extension only activates on pages it needs: TradingView, Fidelity's option chain at digital.fidelity.com, our own tradermatrix.pro and vespryx.com domains, and a fixed list of public financial and social sites where it labels ticker cashtags (currently X/Twitter, StockTwits, Reddit, Yahoo Finance, Seeking Alpha, MarketWatch, CNBC, Benzinga, Investing.com, Substack, and Google News). It does not request access to all websites, and it does not run on any page outside that list.
What it reads. On a chart or option chain, it reads the ticker symbol you are looking at, and on Fidelity it reads the strike and last-price cells of the option chain grid so it can place badges next to the right rows. On the cashtag sites it reads the visible ticker symbols on the page. It does not read your brokerage account balances, positions, order history, or any other part of your Fidelity account, and it does not read the content of pages outside the list above.
Signing in. On tradermatrix.pro and vespryx.com only, the extension reads your existing login tokens from browser storage and passes them to its own background process so it can call our API as you. Those tokens travel over the browser's internal extension messaging and are sent only to our own servers. This is how the extension knows you are a subscriber.
What leaves your device. The extension talks only to our own servers (tradermatrix.pro, api.traderdaddy.pro and vespryx.com), plus TradingView's own alert service when you ask it to create a TradingView alert on your behalf. It contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software of any kind. We do not sell or transfer data collected through the extension, and we do not use it for advertising or to assess creditworthiness. Your settings and layout preferences are stored locally in your own browser.
3.10 Aggregate Market Sentiment Data
We produce anonymous, aggregate statistics about which stock tickers people are discussing and whether the tone is bullish, bearish, or neutral. These statistics may be built from:
- Messages you send to our in-app AI assistant (see 3.7);
- Messages in Discord channels that a server administrator has chosen for the TraderMatrix Flow Bot to read, in servers where the administrator has opted in. The bot posts a notice in each such channel and reads only the channels the administrator selects;
- Ticker lookups and watchlist activity in TickerTrace, a product also operated by Trader Matrix LLC;
- How members use the Service itself: which ticker pages are opened, which tickers are added to watchlists, and which flow signals are followed. Staff accounts are left out;
- Public posts on AfterHour and public Telegram channels, read through a third-party aggregator. We keep per-ticker counts of posts and of bullish and bearish calls, never post text, account names or channel names; and
- Position counts from that same aggregator: how many accounts hold a ticker and the total value held. These are totals per ticker, and no account is named.
How it works. Software reads a message only long enough to find ticker symbols and assign a bullish, bearish, or neutral label, then discards the text. What we keep is a count per ticker, per hour or day, per source. These statistics do not contain message text, usernames, Discord user IDs, or account IDs, and we do not use them to identify or contact anyone. Counts from Discord, AfterHour, Telegram, TickerTrace and member activity are kept only when at least three different people stand behind them (for Telegram, three different channels), and we license or publish a figure only when it rests on at least 40 mentions.
Your choices. A Discord server administrator can remove the bot or change which channels it reads at any time. Because these statistics are anonymous counts, we cannot later pick one person's contribution out of them; to stop your future messages being counted, avoid the selected channel or ask the server administrator. You can also email admin@tradermatrix.pro.
4. How We Use Your Information

- Process payments and manage billing
- Deliver alerts, notifications, and webhooks you configure
- Administer the affiliate and referral program
- Personalize user experience and remember preferences

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We share your information with third parties only as described below:
5.1 Service Providers
We use the following third-party services that may process your data:
- Google — OAuth authentication and analytics
- Stripe — Payment processing and subscription management
- Resend — Transactional email delivery
- Vercel — Frontend hosting
- Railway — Backend hosting
- Supabase — Managed database storage
- Upstash — Redis caching
- Tradier — Options market data
- Finnhub — Market data
- OpenRouter — AI request routing to model providers
- Google (Gemini), Anthropic (Claude), DeepSeek — AI assistant response generation and conversation analysis
These providers are contractually obligated to use your data only as necessary to provide their services to us.
5.2 User-Configured Integrations
If you configure webhooks to external services (such as Discord), TraderMatrix data alerts will be sent to those endpoints. You are responsible for the privacy and security of data delivered to endpoints you configure.
5.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or government regulation, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to:
- Comply with legal process or regulatory requests
- Protect and defend our rights or property
- Prevent or investigate fraud or abuse
- Protect the safety of users or the public
5.4 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or prominent notice on the Service prior to such transfer.
5.5 Licensed Analytics and Aggregate Data
We license our own analytics to businesses, for example gamma-exposure levels, activity scores, market-health readings, and the anonymous aggregate sentiment statistics described in 3.10. These are figures we compute, not records about you, and they contain no personal information. Where the terms of a source restrict commercial use of data from that source, we do not license statistics built from it. We do not sell your personal information.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Passwords hashed using bcrypt (we never store plaintext passwords)
- Secure managed database infrastructure with access controls
- JWT-based authentication with short-lived access tokens
- Audit logging of sensitive account actions
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we implement reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify affected users within a reasonable timeframe as required by applicable law and take appropriate remediation steps.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data as follows:
- Account information: Retained until you request deletion or close your account
- Unusual activity data: Automatically purged after 14 days
- Payment and billing records: Retained for at least 7 years for tax and legal compliance
- Audit logs: Retained for up to 90 days, then archived or deleted
- Support communications: Retained for up to 2 years
- Affiliate records: Retained for at least 3 years to support commission disputes
- First-party product analytics: Raw records retained for 13 months, then reduced to daily totals that are not linked to any person
- Records of your data exports: When you download your data, we keep a record of that export (its size and a fingerprint of the file) for 90 days so we can answer questions about what was sent. You can remove these records sooner from your account settings.
When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
Your activity data when you delete your account. Your product analytics records (pages visited, sessions and button actions) are detached from your account at the moment you delete it. By default we keep them in pseudonymised form: we remove your account ID and replace it with a random identifier, and use them only for product analytics. Pseudonymised is not the same as anonymous; usage patterns could in principle identify a person, and we do not claim otherwise. We give you a one-time recovery key. Only you hold it: we store a fingerprint of the key and nothing that links the random identifier back to you, so without the key we cannot and will not link the data to you, and our support team cannot re-link it on request. If you lose the key, the link cannot be recovered. If you sign up again, you can use the key once to re-attach the history to your new account. If you prefer, choose "Erase all my activity data too" when you delete your account, and we delete these records, and our records of your data exports, immediately instead. Pseudonymised records follow the same 13-month retention as all raw analytics records, after which the recovery key stops working.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format. You can also download it yourself at any time from your account settings (JSON, CSV or a ZIP of both), including your activity data.
- Opt-Out of Marketing: Unsubscribe from any marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link or by emailing us (note: transactional emails such as receipts and security alerts cannot be disabled)
- Restriction: Request that we limit processing of your data in certain circumstances
To exercise any of these rights, email us at admin@tradermatrix.pro. We will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):
- Right to Know: You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, the purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it
- Right to Delete: You may request deletion of personal information we have collected, subject to certain exceptions
- Right to Correct: You may request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You do not need to opt out.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights
Categories of personal information collected: Identifiers (name, email, IP), commercial information (subscription and payment history), internet/network activity (usage data), and inferences drawn from usage patterns.
Aggregate information. The market-sentiment statistics described in Section 3.10 are aggregate counts that do not identify, relate to, or describe any particular consumer or household, so we do not treat them as personal information. We license them to businesses; we do not sell or share personal information.
To submit a CCPA request, email admin@tradermatrix.pro with "CCPA Request" in the subject line. We will respond within 45 days of a verifiable consumer request.
10. European Users (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) may apply to our processing of your personal data.
Legal basis for processing: We process your personal data under the following legal bases: (a) contract performance — to provide the Service you subscribed to; (b) legitimate interests — to improve the Service, prevent fraud, and communicate about your account; and (c) legal obligation — to comply with applicable laws.
Data transfers: Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.
GDPR rights include the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, and object to processing, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise GDPR rights, contact us at admin@tradermatrix.pro. We will respond within 30 days.
11. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies for the following purposes:
- Essential cookies: Maintain user sessions and authentication state (required for the Service to function)
- Preference cookies: Remember your settings such as theme preferences
- Analytics: Understand how users interact with the Service to improve it
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in and using the Service.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we do not record the first-party product analytics described in Section 3.4 (page visits, scroll depth, device context and button actions). Essential cookies and security logs are unaffected, because the Service cannot run without them.
12. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us at admin@tradermatrix.pro.
13. Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them any personal information.
14. Text Messages (SMS)
If you choose to receive text messages from us, by ticking an unchecked box and entering your mobile number, we keep that number with a record of your consent: the wording you agreed to, when, and the device and IP address it came from. Texts cover exclusive discounts, news, product updates, and event access. Signing up is optional and is never a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. You can also turn texts off under Settings → Preferences. Deleting your account deletes your number.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. We share it only with the service provider that delivers our texts, and only to send them.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where required by law, notify you by email or prominent notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
